Changing Your Settings 71Other Available ProfilesThe phone can be set to additional audio profiles which areavailable via the Profiles menu. Although each profiles hassimilarities, they have each been preset to use different audioparameters for incoming phone call alerts, message alerts, andphone usage. (For more information, refer to “Icons” onpage 16).To access the available options for these sound profiles, highlightthe profile and press the Edit soft key.• To move between the various tabs, use the Left and Right Navigationkeys.• To highlight individual options, use the Up and Down Navigation keys.• To change the setting for a highlighted option, press the Change ( )key.• To save your changes, press the Save soft key.Note: The Silent profile can also be activated by pressing the key or byreducing the volume to 0. An on screen message notifies you that theSilent profile is now active. To deactivate this profile, press the keyagain or increase the volume using the volume key.DisplayIn this menu, you can change various settings for the display orbacklight. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key and select Settings ➔Display.The following options are available. Use the Down NavigationThe Silent profile causes the speaker to be muted and thephone only vibrates or displays information on its LCD.You may also set phone to automatically reply to a voicecall or send an automated reply to an incoming textmessage.The Driving profile keeps the speaker active and willlaunch the currently selected ringtone or melody whenthe associated notification is activated. You may also setthe phone to automatically reply to a voice call or send anautomated reply to an incoming text message.The Outdoor profile keeps the speaker active, the volumesettings are raised to their highest levels, any currentlyactive ringtones or melodies are activated, and thephone’s vibrate feature is activated. This icon isaccompanied on screen by the Vibrate/Audio icon. Youmay also set the phone to automatically reply to a voicecall or send an automated reply to an incoming textmessage.
