Copyright protections may prevent some images, music(including ringtones) and other content from being copied, modified,transferred or forwarded.Transferring Music using a Media ApplicationA USB cable, microSD™ card, and a current version of a mediaapplication (such as Windows Media Player) are required for thisprocedure.1. Open the media player on your personal computer (if youare using Windows Media Player, use version 10.0 orhigher).2. Use the USB Data Cable (sold separately) to connect thehandset to the target PC. When an active connection hasbeen established, a USB icon ( ) appears on thephone.3. Once the USB connection has been established, thehandset displays “Connected” and the computer screenthen shows your device.Note: If the target computer does not detect the newly connected handset orprovide an MTP Player dialog window on the PC screen, see“Transferring Music from the Digital Music Stores” on page 93Note: The following steps reflect the procedure used with Windows MediaPlayer 10. If you are using some other form of media player, or a laterversion of Windows Media Player, you should refer to the application’sHelp files for specific directions.4. From within the Windows Media Player application, clickon the Sync tab. Previously downloaded songs are thenlisted on the left side of the application.5. Choose the destination location for the media files. TheSGH-A767-Phone and SGH-A767-Card entries bothappear in a drop-down list on the right side of the screen.This selection determines whether the audio files will besynchronized with the Phone or with the inserted memorycard.Note: If there are no items present in the playlist, click the Edit Playlistbutton and begin adding the music files from among the various mediacategories.
