Understanding Your Address Book 53Setting Up Speed Dial Entries1. From the Idle Screen, press the Menu soft key, then selectAddress Book ➔ Contacts.2. Highlight the desired Contacts entry.3. Press the Options soft key, then select More ➔ AssignSpeed Dial.4. Select the key to which you wish to assign the speed-dialnumber (from the 2 to 9 keys).The “Speed Dial assigned” message appears.Note: Memory location 1 is reserved for your Voice mail server number.You may also set up a Speed Dial entry by going to the SpeedDial List directly.1. At the Speed DialList, however, highlight the desired speed-dial key, press theOptions soft key, and select Add ➔ FDN Contacts. Next, highlightthe FDN list entry you wish to assign to the highlighted speed-dial key and press the Select soft key or the key.Changing a Contact Assigned to a Speed-Dial Key1. From the Idle Screen, press Menu soft key, then selectAddress Book ➔ Contacts.2. Highlight the contact to be assigned to a speed dialnumber, and press the Options soft key.3. Select More ➔ Assign Speed Dial. The “Change SpeedDial?” confirmation appears.4. Press the Yes soft key. The Speed Dial list appears.5. Select the key to which you wish to assign the speed-dialnumber (from the 2 to 9 keys). The “Saved” messageappears.If you access the Speed Dial List from the Address Book menu,the procedure changes slightly:1.
