Connectivity164Searching for and pairing with a Bluetoothdevice1. On the Bluetooth screen, press the Right key to move tothe Paired devices screen.2. Select Options → New paired device to search for a newdevice.To search for new devices, select More devices.After searching for connectable devices, a list of devicesyou can connect to displays. The following icons on the leftof the devices indicates the type of device it is:• : for a mobile phone• : for a computer• : for a headset, hands-free and car kit3. Select a device with which to connect.4. Enter a Bluetooth PIN and press the OK soft key. This codeis used just once and you don’t need to memorise it.When the owner of the other device enters the same code,pairing is complete.Note: Pairing means authentication. The users of Bluetooth-enabled devices must agree on the Bluetooth PIN, anduse the same code for both devices in order to pairthem. Some devices, especially headsets or hands-freeand car kits, may have a fixed Bluetooth PIN, such as0000. If the other device has one, you must enter thecode.5. When you are asked to set the device to be authorised,press the Yes soft key to confirm, or the No soft key.
