Failure to do so could causesudden loud noises to occur, which might damage yourhearing or equipment.Recording operation limitationsA limitation of this unit is that recording in a folderbecomes impossible when the total number of files,subfolders and other items in it becomes large. For thisreason, the following things might occur.• When the total number of items in one folderexceeds about 20000Recording of a new take might not be possible evenwhen starting recording from a stopped state. When aproject or session is loaded, recording to that sessionmight not be possible. In these cases, the followingpop-up message appears.• When recording/editing is repeated in timelinemode and the available memory runs shortRepeating recording/editing may greatly consumememory to manage regions or editing history. Inthis case, recording cannot be performed, and thefollowing pop-up message appears:In this case, the remaining recording time indicator forthe currently selected card on the Home Screen showsRec Limit.CAUTIONThe total number of items inside one folder includesfiles and folders not created by this unit. Managementfiles, system files and other files and folders that are notordinarily visible are also included in the total.4–Basic operation
