Do not select Automatic Loading if you areinstalling the software for a network connected printer. Referto “Installing fax software on a network” later in this chapter.• To remove PSFAX from the AUTOEXEC.BAT, select “Skip ThisStep Without Changing the AUTOEXEC.BAT File” and pressEnter to continue.README File Options screenAfter you have completed or skipped the Automatic LoadingOption screen, the README File Options screen appears:The README file contains information updates available after thisoperator guide was printed. It is a good idea to read it to see ifit contains information pertinent to your current activity.Follow these steps to complete the README File Options screen:1. Do one of the following:• To print the README file, select “Print the README File,”and press Enter.• If you do not want to print or read the file, select “Skipthe README File and Continue with the Next Screen,”and press Enter. You may read the README file laterwith a text editor, or by running the installation programagain from your hard disk, as described in “Changing thefax software basic settings,” in the “Administering the faxsoftware” chapter.The last screen to appear informs you that the installation iscomplete and provides instructions on how to activate thefax software.2.
