OPERATIONSending a fax from a Windows applicationFollow these steps to send a fax from a Windows application:1. Within your Windows application, open the file to fax andselect the PRINT command.If you are faxing in PostScript resolution to another faxprinter, it is important that your documents use only thosefonts.N Note: To avoid font substitution and undesireddocument reformatting, documents faxed to other faxprinters should use only the 35 base fonts available toall PostScript fax printers. This note does not apply todocuments sent to ordinary fax machines.2. Make choices in the Print dialog box of the application.Select the entire document, the current page, or a range ofpages to fax.3. Click on OK.After a moment, the Fax or Print dialog box appears.4. You have the option of selecting the To Name box andtyping the recipient name. This name is inserted on the FaxConfirmation dialog box and cover page if you use one.5. Click on the Fax Number box and type the destination faxnumber. Include any special access codes needed to dial thefax number. These are added to the outside access codes (ifany) you specified during installation.6. To use a cover page, select the Cover Page check box.
