4.5 Transferring Data with the MPE7204.5.6 Comparing to the Machine Controller4-704.5.6 Comparing to the Machine ControllerThe operation depends on whether a project file on the PC is currently open (offline) or whetherthe Machine Controller is online.• OfflineAfter a connection to the Machine Controller is established, the currently open project filedata and the Machine Controller RAM data will be compared, and the results will be dis-played in the Transfer Pane.• OnlineWhen you specify (or create) a project file to compare, the project file data and the MachineController RAM data will be compared, and the results will be displayed in the Transfer Pane.4.5.7 Comparing Flash Memory and RAM DataThe Machine Controller RAM data and the flash memory data will be compared, and the resultswill be displayed in the Transfer Pane. You can save the data to flash memory only when theMachine Controller is connected (online).4.5.8 Comparing to a Project FileThe currently open project file data and the data in another project file will be compared, andthe results will be displayed in the Transfer Pane. This comparison can be executed only whenthe Machine Controller is offline.Do not turn OFF the power supply to the Machine Controller until saving the data toflash memory has been completed.If you turn OFF the power supply to the Machine Controller while data is being savedto flash memory, the data will be lost.If you then turn ON the power supply to the Machine Controller, the Machine Control-ler will start with the factory default conditions.Note
