Check the blowby hoses. Replace ifcracked or damaged.Checking the air temperature sensor1. Check the air temperature sensor. See“Checking the air temperature sensor”(5-56).Installing the intake manifoldDo not reuse a gasket, always replace itwith a new one.1. Connect the blowby hose 1 with thepaint mark a facing outward, and thenfasten it using the holder 2.2. Install new gaskets onto the intake mani-folds. Make sure to fit the protrusion oneach gasket into its corresponding slot inthe intake manifolds.TIP:Make sure that the tab on the gaskets isproperly and firmly fitted into the slot in theintake manifolds.3.
