If the color of the speed setting in-dicator icon has changed andflashes, have a Yamaha dealercheck the vehicle.Adjusting the speed limitWhile the YVSL is activated, push the“RES+” side of the cruise control/YVSLsetting switch to increase the set speedlimit or the “SET–” side to decrease theset speed limit.TIPPushing the setting switch once willchange the set speed in increments ofapproximately 1.0 km/h (1.0 mi/h).Holding the setting switch will changethe set speed in increments of 10 km/h(10 mi/h).Deactivating the YVSLWhen the YVSL is disengaged, engineoutput is gradually derestricted to en-sure a smooth transition to full ridercontrol of the throttle.Perform one of the following operationsto deactivate the YVSL: Turn the throttle grip past theclosed position in the decelerationdirection. The YVSL “ ” indica-tor icon will go off and the systemwill return to standby mode. Push the cruise control/YVSLpower switch “ ” located on theleft handlebar.
