There are 3 cus-tomizable temperature presets that canbe customized between 10 differenttemperature levels. (See page 5-26.)The indicator displays the current tem-perature setting as “OFF” or segments(LO/MIDDLE/HIGH).To activate the grip warmer1. Use the wheel switch to highlightthe grip warmer display with thecursor.2. Short push the wheel switch andthe indicator will start flashing.3. Rotate the wheel switch to selectthe temperature preset.4. Short push the wheel switch toconfirm the selection and the gripwarmer indicator will stop flashing.NOTICEECA17932 Be sure to wear gloves when us-ing the grip warmers. Do not use the grip warmers inwarm weather. If the handlebar grip or throttlegrip becomes worn or damaged,stop using the grip warmers andreplace the grips.YRC iconsThe current YRC MODE preset and itsrelated settings are shown on variousicons at the top and bottom of the mainscreen.Settings for YRC items PWR, TCS,SCS, QS “ ”, QS “ ”, LIF, EBM, andBC “ ” are organized into presets(MODE-A, MODE-B, MODE-C, andMODE-D). The settings for eachMODE preset can be customized viathe YRC setting menu. (Seepage 5-18.)TIP YRC settings shown on the bottomof the main screen (PWR, TCS,and SCS) can be adjusted inde-pendently from the main screen. YRC settings shown on the top ofthe main screen (QS “ ”, QS“ ”, LIF, BC “ ” and EBM) can-not be adjusted independentlyfrom the main screen. To changethese values, use the YRC SettingMENU. (See page 5-18.) The LIF icon only show as active/inactive but have different settinglevels that can be adjusted in theYRC Setting MENU. (Seepage 5-18.) The BC “ ” and EBM icons showboth active/inactive as well as thecurrent setting level.The YRC modes come preset from thefactory for different riding conditions.When using the factory presets, thesuggested YRC modes are as follows.MODE-A: suitable for track ridingMODE-B: softer track-riding settingMODE-C: suitable for road use
