FCC INFORMATION (for US customers only)Note to CATV system installer:This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer’sattention to Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelinesfor proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cableground shall be connected to the grounding system of thebuilding, as close to the point of cable entry as practical.22 Wall or Ceiling Mounting – The unit should be mounted to awall or ceiling only as recommended by the manufacturer.23 Heat – The product should be situated away from heat sourcessuch as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products(including amplifiers) that produce heat.24 Outdoor Antenna Grounding – If an outside antenna or cablesystem is connected to the product, be sure the antenna or cablesystem is grounded so as to provide some protection againstvoltage surges and built-up static charges.
