• Blocking of position indications, BL_UPD. This input will block all inputsrelated to apparatus positions for all configured functions within the bay.• Blocking of commands, BL_CMD. This input will block all commands for allconfigured functions within the bay.• Blocking of function, BLOCK, signal from DO (Data Object) Behavior (IEC61850–8–1). If DO Behavior is set to "blocked" it means that the function isactive, but no outputs are generated, no reporting, control commands are rejectedand functional and configuration data is visible. The switching of the Local/Remote switch requires at least system operator level. Thepassword will be requested at an attempt to operate if authority levels have beendefined in the IED. Otherwise the default authority level, SuperUser, can handle thecontrol without LogOn. The users and passwords are defined in PCM600.12.2.9.3 Local remote/Local remote control LOCREM/LOCREMCTRLThe function block Local remote (LOCREM) handles the signals coming from thelocal/remote switch. The connections are seen in figure 178, where the inputs onfunction block LOCREM are connected to binary inputs if an external switch is used. When the local HMI is used, the inputs are not used and are set to FALSE in theconfiguration.
