The transition time for thelamps coming on varies based onwiper speed. When the wipers arenot operating, these lamps turn off.Move the exterior lamp control to Oor ; to disable this feature.Adaptive ForwardLighting (AFL)On vehicles with the AFL system,the headlamps pivot horizontally toprovide greater road illuminationwhile turning. To enable AFL, setthe exterior lamp control on the turnsignal lever to the AUTO position.Moving the control out of the AUTOposition will deactivate the system.AFL will operate when the vehiclespeed is greater than 3 km/h(2 mph). AFL will not operate whenthe transmission is in R (Reverse).AFL is not immediately operableafter starting the vehicle; driving ashort distance is required tocalibrate the AFL. See ExteriorLamp Controls on page 6-1.Hazard Warning Flashers| (Hazard Warning Flashers):Press this button on the centerstack to make the front and rear turnsignal lamps flash on and off. Pressagain to turn the flashers off.The hazard warning flashers turn onautomatically if the airbags deploy.Turn and Lane-ChangeSignalsMove the lever all the way up ordown to signal a turn.An arrow on the instrument clusterflashes in the direction of the turn orlane change.
