Adjusting the Image 4-794Special Copying and Mail Box Features3 Press [Remove Background] ➞ [OK].If the background colour remains, or if you want to make the background colour darker whenthe original is scanned in the Remove Background mode, make fine adjustments to the densityof the background colour.If you want to make fine adjustments to the density of the background color, press [FineAdjustment] ➞ press [-] or [+] to specify the amount of each color that you want to remove ➞press [OK].For example, if the background colour (yellow) of the original remains, press [-] next to to adjust the density.Adjusting Yellow automatically adjusts the levels of Red and Green to the same level as Yellow.However, Adjusting the levels of Red or Green sets Yellow back to its default level.NOTE• Pressing [-] or [+] adjusts the density of each colour. Press [-] to make the colour lighter, or press[+] to make the colour darker.• If you make fine adjustments to the density, the automatic copy exposure setting is cancelled,and the original is scanned according to the Fine Adjustment settings.■ Mail Box (Scan)1 Select the desired User Inbox number ➞ place your originals ➞ press[Scan] ➞ [Special Features] ➞ [Image Qual.
