This section describes the system related optional accessories and their functions.■ Color Network Printer UnitColor Network Printer Unit is a printer controller which attaches to the machine. Color Network PrinterUnit supports Adobe Genuine PostScript 3 and PCL5c, and is suited for office environments in whichlarger print volumes are frequently processed, or for users who use Adobe PostScript or other PostScriptapplications.NOTEColor Network Printer Unit cannot be attached to the iR C4580i/iR C4080i.■ iR 512MB Expansion RAMThis option expands the memory capacity (1,024 MB as standard) of the CLC5151/CLC4040. To enablesome optional functions, it is necessary to install the iR 512MB Expansion RAM to expand the memorycapacity of the machine to 1,536 MB.■ Super G3 FAX BoardInstalling the Super G3 FAX Board enables you to fax documents that have been created in applicationsdirectly from your PC via a network.NOTEThe Canon Fax Driver is supplied with the Super G3 FAX Board, and enables you to send fax imagesfrom a PC via the machine.■ Color Universal Send KitThe Color Universal Send Kit enables you to send scanned documents via e-mail or I-fax, as well assend scanned data to be stored in file servers or User Inboxes.NOTEThe Send function is available only if the optional Color Universal Send Kit is activated by registering alicense key. For the iR C4580i/iR C4080i, the Send function is standard equipped.
