13-36 Troubleshooting Chapter 13If a Power Cut OccursIf power is suddenly lost due to an outage or accidental unplugging, abuilt-in battery retains the user data settings and the speed diallingsettings. However, any sent or received documents stored in memorywill be lost.During a power cut, functions are limited as follows:❏ You cannot make telephone calls.❏ You cannot send, receive, or copy documents.❏ You can only use the MultiPASS C70 to receive telephone calls if youconnected the handset, a telephone, or an extension phone to yourunit.When power is restored to the MultiPASS C70, the unit willautomatically print out a list of documents that were stored in memoryat the time of the power cut.n If there is no paper in the multi-purpose tray when power is restored,the LCD displays LOAD PAPER. If this happens, press Resume toreturn to standby mode.
