3-2 Registering Information in the MultiPASS C70 Chapter 3Methods for Registering Information in theMultiPASS C70To customise the MultiPASS C70 to your particular needs, you canadjust the general operation, sending, receiving, printing, systemsettings, and speed dialling settings. There are two methods of adjustingthese settings:Method 1: Using the MultiPASS C70 operation panelYou can adjust settings directly via the operation panel of the MultiPASSC70. Detailed instructions are described in this guide. Adjusting settingsthrough the operation panel is convenient when you do not have yourMultiPASS C70 connected to a PC.Method 2: Using the MultiPASS Desktop ManagerYou can adjust settings using the MultiPASS Desktop Manager softwareincluded with your MultiPASS C70. For detailed instructions refer to theMultiPASS Suite Software User’s Guide.Before adjusting any settings, decide whether you prefer to makechanges from the operation panel or from the MultiPASS DesktopManager. Using both—the operation panel and the MultiPASS DesktopManager—may cause confusion. Changes made to settings through theoperation panel will not be displayed in the MultiPASS DesktopManager, and changes made in the MultiPASS Desktop Manager willoverride any corresponding settings made through the operation panel.n If your MultiPASS C70 is connected to a PC, we recommend using theMultiPASS Desktop Manager to adjust any settings.
