7-4 Chapter 7Working with Documents in the Desktop ManagerYou can select a job in the list to review information about that job in the statusbar. This information includes the name of the original document from which thejob came, as well as the reason if the job failed.Each job in the Out Box folder displays with a system-assigned name. A jobremains in the Out Box folder until it is successfully processed or deleted. Youcannot rename a job in the Out Box folder, or move the job to another folder.The Out Box folder displays the current status of each job. While in the Out Box,you can work with your jobs in the following ways:J Stop an active job from PC faxing or printingJ Send a PC fax that has been scheduled for sending later, held, or has failedJ Print a jobJ Delete a job that is not active.The following sections provide information about the job statuses, andinstructions for stopping an active job and sending a PC fax.Job StatusOne of the following statuses is assigned to each job in the Out Box folder.J ActiveThe active job is the job currently being PC faxed or printed using theDesktop Manager. When an active fax job completes successfully, it isautomatically moved to the Sent Faxes folder or deleted (based on whetheryou specified to delete after sending in the Send Fax dialog box). When anactive print job completes successfully, it is automatically deleted.J QueuedA queued job is a job waiting to be PC faxed or printed. Queued jobs areprocessed in chronological order.
