Operation can beverified by observing the LED that indicates if one or more fans are faulty(see Table 3-1).The fan outlets are shown in Figure 3-4.LED DefinitionsThe front panel contains light emitting diodes (LEDs) that indicate thestatus of links, power supplies, fans, and system diagnostics.These are described below.System LEDsThe system LEDs of the PowerConnect 5500 devices provide informationabout the power supplies, fans, thermal conditions, and diagnostics.Figure 3-2 shows the location of the system LEDS on the device.Table 3-1 describes the meaning of the colors of the system LEDs.Table 3-1.
