TheIGMP proxy issues host messages on behalf of the hosts that have beendiscovered on IGMP-enabled interfaces. The upstream interface is theinterface closest to the root multicast router, which should be running IGMP.NOTE: Configure only the upstream interface as the IGMP proxy. IGMP shouldbe enabled on all downstream interfaces.
