The otherimage file is a backup image. By default, the switch has only one image. Youmight copy an image or download an image to the switch for the followingreasons:• To create a backup image• To upgrade the firmware as new images become availableConfiguration FilesConfiguration files contain the CLI commands that change the switch fromits default configuration. The switch can maintain three separateconfiguration files: startup-config, running-config, and backup-config. Theswitch loads the startup-config file when the switch boots.
