The display consists of the following parts:1. Status bar. The status bar displays the UPS name, state, current date and time, meters information,and a sign in/out button. They are colored light emitting diode (LED)lamps, and they work in conjunction with the alarm horn to let you know the operating status of the UPS.Table 19. Because the batterymode is a normal condition of the UPS, the greenindicator for normal operation also remains illuminated.Yellow symbol for bypassmodeOn The UPS is in the bypass mode. The critical load issupported by the bypass source. The green indicator fornormal operation is not illuminated when the system is inthe bypass mode.Red symbol for active alarmOn The UPS has an active alarm and requires immediateattention. The screen shows the highest priority activealarms. All alarms are accompanied by an audible horn.To silence the horn, press any control panel button once.The alarm indicator may be illuminated along with otherindicators.77..22..33 SSyysstteemm eevveennttssWhen the UPS system is running in the double conversion mode, it continually monitors itself and theincoming utility power. In the battery or bypass mode, the UPS may issue alarms to let you know exactlywhat event caused the change from the double conversion mode. System events on the UPS can beindicated by horns, lights, messages, or all three.Select Logs in the home screen to look at any currently active events.• System event hornThe system event horn beeps to alert the user that an event requiring attention is taking place.• System event indicatorsThe status indicators on the UPS control panel and the event horn let you know when the UPS systemis operating in any mode other than the double conversion mode. Only the green indicator for normaloperation is visible during normal UPS system operation. The other indicators illuminate to indicatealarms or events.
