Independent tone selectionfor all 3 stages is via the 3 off 5-way DIP switches fittedto the electronics assembly:• 2-wire sysoem (Single soage)e: Connect the positiveand negative supply wires to the terminals as detailedin the wiring diagram.• 2-wire sysoem (Dual soage, reverse pNlarioy)e: Connectthe positive and negative supply wires to the terminalsas detailed in the wiring diagram. The second stageis produced by reversing the polarity of the supply tothe unit.• 3-wire sysoem (Dual soage, cNmmNn +ve)e: Connect 3supply wires to the terminals as detailed in the wiringdiagram (1 common +ve wire and 2 -ve wires). Stage 1is produced when power is applied across the common+ve and stage 1 -ve terminals. Stage 2 is producedwhen power is applied across the common +ve andstage 2 -ve terminals.• 3-wire sysoem (Dual soage, cNmmNn -ve)e: Connect3 supply wires to the terminals as detailed in the wiringdiagram (2 +ve wires and 1 common -ve wire). Stage1 is produced when power is applied across the stage1 +ve and common -ve terminals. Stage 2 is producedwhen power is applied across the stage 2 +ve andstage common -ve terminals.• 4-wire sysoem (Triple soage, CNmmNn -ve)e: Connect4 supply wires to the terminals as detailed in the wiringdiagram (3 +ve wires and 1 common -ve wire). Stage1 is produced when power is applied across the stage1 +ve and common -ve terminals. Stage 2 is producedwhen power is applied across the stage 2 +ve andcommon -ve terminals. Stage 3 is produced whenpower is applied across the stage 3 +ve and common-ve terminals.All versions are supplied with terminals to allow loop-inloop-out connection of the supply wires.Noee:N If an EOL resistor is specified on a DC unit, it willbe fitted as standard across terminals 5 & 6 in theEx d chamber (see below).
