Parameter SettingNFM 600 - rev. 02 / 10.07.2019 page 11144.3 Menu >Alert< / >Water temperature<Fig. 44-3 Water temperatureThe >Water temperature< subsection permits to specify up to five different limit values by us-ing the “+” and “-” keys in >Upper threshold Entries< and in >Lower threshold Entries<each of which is used to trigger an alarm e-mail.Define the threshold values by clicking the fields and by entering numerical values. Themeasurement transmitter will sort the specified threshold values in decreasing order. This ismade independent from the input sequence. In >Hysteresis (abs.)< and >Hysteresis (rel.)< values can be specified by clicking and typ-ing. The measurement transmitter evaluates both values and sends an e-mail on reachingthe highest top limit (highest possible value) and the lowest bottom value (lowest possiblevalue). This mail includes the information that the alert is cancelled.Default settings:Hysteresis (abs.): values and units depend on the language settings previously adjustedHysteresis (rel.): 5.0 %Moreover, the >Alert on error< option can be checked causing an active ongoing alert tosend an alarm e-mail. Possible errors are cable breaks, interruptions, short circuits etc.NIVUS recommend checking this option in order to receive an alert via e-mail once a flowvelocity sensor should be defective or if the measurement pipe should have run empty. Botherrors cause the flow measurement to fail.
