Availability of these features is first determined byyour service provider, and secondly by turning on the featuresunder Network Features, ETSI.Network Call DiversionNorstar Network Call Diversion (NCD) is a network functionthat allows forwarding and redirection of calls outside theNorstar network when using an ETSI ISDN line. Functionalityis similar to that of External Call Forward (ECF).NCD redirects calls using the same line on which they arrive.Call forward is efficient since there is no need for additionaloutside lines.Forwarding calls externally from an extension requires theuser to enter either a Destination Code or Line Pool AccessCode, and the number to which calls will be forwarded.Examples of NCD include:• redirecting all calls from an extension to a mobile phone• forwarding calls to an external destination (rather than tovoicemail), when an extension is busy or the user isunavailable.
