390 / System prgrmingModular ICS 6.0 Installer Guide P0992638 03The hunt group setting impacts other features:• Call forwards set on telephones that are members of a huntgroup are overridden by the hunt group routing.• Sets that are members of a hunt group can temporarilyleave a group by activating the DND feature.• Wireless twinning can be enabled if a hunt group appearson the portable as well as the set.• Priority calls to a hunt group will be rejected• Hunt group set numbers cannot be in a ringing group.• Hunt group set numbers cannot be in a page zone.• Hunt group member line keys take precedence over Huntgroup key, therefore, it is recommended that you do notassign any lines to telephones which are part of the huntgroup. If you do assign lines to a hunt group telephone,ensure they do not duplicate any of the lines assigned to theHunt Group DN.Note: Videophones should not be programmed as members ofa hunt group. Hunt groups allow one B channelconnection at a time and videophones use two Bchannels.Adding or removing members from a groupMembers of the group can be any Norstar telephone orBusiness Series Terminal, CTA 500dm, ISDN set, orportables. A set can be in more than one hunt group but isconsidered a member in each hunt group, increasing the totalnumber of members in the system.There can be only one appearance of the same hunt group on aset. The appearance can be: Appr&Ring, Appr only, or Ringonly.
