Connection between P and Q is by the Internet.Fax data is sent from A to P. P searches for Q (the nearest server to thedestination fax number) and sends the fax data to Q. Q then sends the faxdata to B.Fax to e-mailRoute: Fax machine (A) X Fax2Net Server (P) X Internet Mail Server(Q) X Personal Computer (B)Connection between A and P is through normal telephone services.Connections between P and Q and Q and B are by the Internet.The e-mail address is transmitted from A to P. P converts the fax data ithas received into an attachment file for an e-mail and sends the e-mail tothe destination address at Q. B then retrieves the e-mail through Q.Note: The Fax2Net server converts text into TIFF files to be sent asattachments to e-mail. If the size of the file exceeds 2 MB, it ispossible that the e-mail may be divided and sent as more thanone message. Please be aware of text volume.
