This may be aconsideration when you are planning your install.Depending on your current configuration, the followingsoftware may also be needed:• Printer driver installation diskettes. These diskettesare provided with the OS/2 operating system or areavailable from the printer manufacturer.• LAN Manager or LAN Server installation diskettes.Note: It is strongly recommended that you makebackup copies of the OS2.INI andOS2SYS.INI files before you install theOkiLAN 6120e. Follow the directions in yourOS/2 documentation to back up these files.Installing the Utilities SoftwareTwo software utilities are provided with the OkiLAN6120e: INSTALL and OkiNet for OS/2.InstallThe INSTALL utility copies both software utilities toyour OS/2 server and registers the OKI application withthe OS2.INI file. You will need to run INSTALL onetime only.OkiNet for OS/2The OkiNet for OS/2 utility completes the initialinstallation of the OkiLAN 6120e. In addition, you canrun the utility as needed to modify the configuration ofthe OkiLAN 6120e or to view port information.Note: The directory where OKI DLL files install,c:\OS2\DLL, must be the first entry in theLIBPATH command located in theCONFIG.SYS file. When you reboot thesystem, the OS/2 spooler will load the OKINetwork Printer Redirector.
