For the troubles that occur in other environments, refer to theNetwork User Guide.When the printer is not printingThis section explains how to fix the printer status when Unable to print (xxxx Error)appears in the window displayed by clicking Start > Printers.CAUSE VERIFICATION ACTIONThe printer and thecomputer are connectedto different networks.Check with your networksystem administrator toverify that the networkconnecting the computerand that connecting theprinter are linked by arouter or a gateway.Connect this printerdirectly to thenetwork connectingthe computer.An error has occurred inthe network betweenthe computer and theprinter. Connectioncannot be established.“Unable to print(NetworkError)” isdisplayed.Ask your networksystem administratorto check the networkfor errors.The printer is switchedoff after a printinstruction has beensent from a computer.Or the print instructionis sent to the printerwhich is switched off.“Unable to print(NetworkError)” isdisplayed. Checkwhether the printer isswitched on.Switch on the printer.Print instructions frommultiple computers aresent to the printer atthe same time.“Unable to print(NetworkError)” isdisplayed.None (Printing will beresumedautomatically).Printing files cannot bespooled due toinsufficient disk capacityof the computer.“Unable to print(SpoolError)” isdisplayed. Double-clickMy Computer and right-click the disk (example:C drive) with Windows>Select Properties fromthe menu displayed andthen check available freespace.After deletingunnecessary files toincrease the freespace available,select Pause fromthe Documentsmenu of the Printerswindow to enableprinting to restart.
