Advanced printing > 64CONFIGURING PROOF PRINTThis section explains the procedure using WordPad on Windows XP as an example. Theprocedure is the same for other Operating Systems.1. From the File menu, select Print.2. Select this printer as the printer to be used and click Preferences or for otherapplications may say Properties.3. From Job Options tab in the Job Type group, select Proof and Print.4. In the Job Identification group, enter a name at Job Name. The job name isneeded at the printer to retrieve the particular job.5. In the Job Identification group, enter a 6 digit password at Job Pin. Enter a Sixdigit numeric password. Click OK.6. Enter the job expiration time. A value of zero specifies that the job will not expire.7. Click Print in the Print dialog box to start printing.The document will be stored in the printer.AT THE PRINTER CONTROL PANELThis section explains the procedure to print data stored in the printer by Proof and Print1. Check the print proof copy that was printed to see that it is correct beforeproceeding.2. Press the MENU button3. Check that Print Jobs Menu is highlighted and then press the ENTER button.4. Press the up button or down button until the desired document is displayed and thenpress the ENTER button.7. Press the BACK button if a wrong # is entered.TIMED JOBThis feature allows you to store a job in the printer and configure it to print at a specifiedtime.
