This is not amalfunction.Cameras fail to beswitched automatically.(During playback) ____To automatically switch over the cameras duringrecording, press the [4] and [3] CAMERA buttons atthe same time.(In any mode exceptplayback) ____Use the external switcher to switch over the cameraswhen EXT SW IN has been selected as the MODE itemsetting.Has VIDEO OUT been selected as theMODE item setting on the setting menu P7EXT SWITCHER screen?In all modes except playback, the monitor screen will notbe switched over to the 4-in-1 picture. This is not amalfunction.(In any mode exceptplayback) ____Signals from the external switcher will not be input whenVIDEO OUT has been selected as the MODE itemsetting.(While an externalswitcher is in use)Has EXT SW IN been selected as theMODE item setting on the setting menu P7EXT SWITCHER screen?To switch the monitor screen over to the 4-in-1 picture,set the counter display to the camera number displaymode, and press the RESET button.Is the counter display in the camera numberdisplay mode?Set the PROGRAM switch to OFF to release the unit’soperation mode from recording or pause.Then set the PROGRAM switch back to MENU, andproceed with menu operation.Setting menu cannot bechanged.Is recording or pause (temporary stop) nowin effect as the unit’s operation mode?Menu operations cannot be performed when the LOCKswitch is at ALL or REC.Is the LOCK switch at OFF?Menu operations cannot be performed during recordingwhen ON has been selected as the MODE item setting.Has OFF been selected as the MODE itemsetting on the setting menu P1 REC LOCKscreen?Connect the cameras which have been set to theCAMERA IN connectors properly.(In any mode exceptplayback)Are signals from cameras being input?When BLUE has been selected as the VIDEO OUT itemsetting, the monitor screen will turn blue at all timesexcept in the recording mode.Has CAMERA been selected as the VIDEOOUT item setting on the setting menu P2REC LOSS INDICATOR screen?Signals from the external switcher will be input whenEXT SW IN has been selected as the MODE itemsetting. The monitor screen will turn blue while theexternal switcher is outputting the blue backgroundsignal.Has VIDEO OUT been selected as theMODE item setting on the setting menu P7EXT SWITCHER screen?Set TIME MODE to 3H, and keep pressing the (+) or (–)tracking button until the number of the trackinginformation reaches its maximum.Is the tracking off?Tapes which were not recorded using the unit (AG-DTL1) cannot be played back.Was the tape recorded using the unit (AG-DTL1)?Only S-VHS tapes can be used with this unit.It is not possible for VHS tapes to be used.Is the tape being used an S-VHS tape?If the operation described on the left is performed, themonitor screen will turn blue.This is not a malfunction.Were cameras No.13 to No.16 selected bythe CAMERA button during the still-pictureplayback of a tape with frames recordedusing cameras No.13 to No.16?
