The monitor screen will turn blue while theexternal switcher is outputting the blue backgroundsignal.Has VIDEO OUT been selected as theMODE item setting on the setting menu P7EXT SWITCHER screen?Set TIME MODE to 3H, and keep pressing the (+) or (–)tracking button until the number of the trackinginformation reaches its maximum.Is the tracking off?Tapes which were not recorded using the unit (AG-DTL1) cannot be played back.Was the tape recorded using the unit (AG-DTL1)?Only S-VHS tapes can be used with this unit.It is not possible for VHS tapes to be used.Is the tape being used an S-VHS tape?If the operation described on the left is performed, themonitor screen will turn blue.This is not a malfunction.Were cameras No.13 to No.16 selected bythe CAMERA button during the still-pictureplayback of a tape with frames recordedusing cameras No.13 to No.16?
