24RQT6981Timer recordingTimer recording[RAM] [DVD-R]This is a simple way of specifying a time to stop recording when youare in a hurry or before you go to bed.During recordingPress [¥, REC] to select the recording time.Each time you press the button:0:30 "# 1:00 "# 1:30 "# 2:00 "# 3:00^"" Counter (cancel) !" 4:00 ,""}For your reference≥Press [STATUS] to show the time remaining until recording finishes.≥This does not work during timer recordings or while using FlexibleRecording (➜page 15).≥Recording stops and the set time is cleared if you press [∫].≥The set time is cleared if you change the recording mode or chan-nel while recording is paused.Preparation≥Ensure the clock (and guide channels for VCR Plusr recording,➜page 8) are set correctly.≥Release protection (cartridge ➜page 10, disc ➜page 38) beforeproceeding. [RAM]Entering VCR Plusi codes is an easy way of programming the unitfor recording. You can find these codes in newspapers and maga-zines.
