Change the code on this unit and its remote control(the two must match) if you place equipment close together.≥Use “1”, the factory set code, under normal circumstances.1 While stoppedPress [SETUP] to show the menus.2 Press [3, 4] to select “Set Up” andpress [1].3 Press [3, 4] to select “Remote Con-trol Code” and press [ENTER].4 Press [3, 4] to select the code (1, 2,or 3) and press [ENTER].The remote control code on the unit has been set.5 While pressing [ENTER] on theremote control, press the numberedbutton ([1], [2] or [3]) correspondingto the code you selected in step 4.The remote control code on the remote control has been set.6 Press [SETUP]The following display appears when you use a remote control with adifferent code.If you are trying to use this unit’s remote control, change its code tomatch the unit’s (➜ step 5).Stereo 1 :Records sound (L1, R1) when DV recording is takingplace.Stereo 2 :Records added sound such as narration (L2, R2)subsequent to original recording.Mix :Records both Stereo 1 and Stereo 2.≥L1+L2 are recorded in L and R1+R2 are recorded in R,except for SAP.
