The appliance must be installed on a flat, solid,continuous surface. For example, a wood, metal,or concrete floor, or in a raised (on the wall)application. The CV60E-1 direct vent gas fireplace can beinstalled in a recessed position or framed outinto the room as in A, B, C, and D. See Diagram1.4. For bedroom installations, check with local codesbefore installation. This appliance is offered witha remote control.5. The CV60E-1 direct vent gas fireplace is ap-proved for alcove installations. See "Clearances"section for details.6.
