Assembly Instructions21PTO Shaft Guard InstallationPosition the shaft guard as shown and mount withtwo (2) 1/420 x 1/2 in. bolts.AttachGuardCarrier FrameTube SocketPTO Shaft Guard InstallationTilt-Up Roller Wheel InstallationMount the two (2) tiltup roller wheels on the brackets on the rear skirt of the deck housing using theaxle spacer tube, 3/816 x 31/4 in. bolt, and 3/816Whiz locknut. Lightly grease each deck support arm (2) on thetractor. Refer to Mower Deck Installationphoto for location of deck support arm.Deck SupportArmsRubber DebrisGuardMower Deck Installation2. First, engage the LH deck carrier frame tubesocket on the LH tractor support arm and thenthe RH arm into the RH tube socket. Slide thedeck onto the support arms and install lynchpins to secure deck. Two (2) lynch pins are included in Owner’s Packet of materials.3. Retract the springloaded quick disconnect ringon the PTO Coupler and insert the Coupler Installation Tool (provided in Owner’s Packet) asshown in the PTO Coupler Installation Toolphoto.NOTE: The Coupler Installation Tool is provided for convenience, but is not required for installation.CouplerInstallation ToolRetract SpringLoadedQuick Disconnect RingPTO CouplerTubePTO Coupler Installation Tool4.
