It is recommended thatthese areas are cleaned regularly. Refer to “Maintaining the Machine”for detailed cleaning procedures.Problems with envelopesIf you experience feeding problems where the pre-stuck end ofenvelopes becoming folded back during printing check that theenvelope is gummed completely.Communications failureWith the H/N model, if a second line is not plugged in and you try tosend group jobs you will get a comms failure as line 2 is not pluggedin.Set line 2 to 'receive only'.The paper is fed out butnothing is printed.• Is the machine out of toner?• Is the document on the sending side loadedcorrectly?Paper jams occurfrequently.• Is the Paper Tray adjusted for the correct papersize? See “Adjusting the Paper Tray”.• Is the Paper Tray fully closed?• Does the document fall within specifications? Seethe User’s Guide, “Document Specifications”.• Is the Right Side Cover fully closed?Machine answers incomingcall but will not receive.• If Refuse Junk Mail is On the machine will onlyreceive for other machines listed in your dialdirectory phonebook.Problem Check Items
