Select thefile format you wish to usefor your scanned image.• Single-TIFF (Tagged Image File Format): Produces agraphic file that can be opened by a variety of graphicsoftware packages across a variety of computerplatforms. A separate file is produced for each imagescanned.• Multi-TIFF: Produces a single TIFF file containingseveral pages of scanned images. A more specializedsoftware is required to open this type of file format.• PDF (Portable Document Format): Allows recipientswith the right software to view, print or edit theelectronic file, no matter what their computerplatform.• JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group): Producesa compressed graphic file that can be opened by avariety of graphic software packages across a varietyof computer platforms.
