During installation, pay attention to the fol-lowing.A Properly install the rubber seal onto the drivechain housing, making sure that there are nogaps.B Make sure that the bearing seals face towardsthe drive chain as shown.C 1 C 2 Be sure to install the spacers in their origi-nal positions, otherwise the brake disc andjackshaft will stick.D 0.2 0.7 mm (0.008 0.028 in): ESSO beacon 325 grease or Aeroshellgrease #7AFor the jackshaft and drive chain housing instal-lation, refer to “SECONDARYSHAFT”.2. Install: Lever rod 13. Adjust: Lever rod length aAdjustment steps: Loosen the locknuts 2 . Turn the lever rod 1 in or out until the speci-fied length is obtained.Lever rod length:27 mm (1.06 in) Tighten the locknuts.
