Cleaning of Robot Standard and Wash DownGeneralThe manipulator is tested to fulfill, IP69K according to IEC 529.DANGER!Turn off all electrical power, hydraulic and pneumatic pressure supplies to the robot!Also read the safety sections:• Safety risks related to pneumatic/hydraulic systems on page 18• Risks associated with live electric parts on page 20• Safety risks during installation and service work on robot on page 15IP69KThe capping is lowered into water to fulfil the following conditions.• The water surface should be min. 150 mm above the highest part of the capping.• The lowest part of the capping should be at least 1 m below the water surface.• The length of the test should be at least 30 min.• The water temperature should not deviate more than 5°C from the temperature of thematerial. This requirement could be changed by the technical committee in questionif the test is to be done when the material is powered or in motion.Standard CleaningThe telescope on the standard version of IRB 360 is not manufactured for wash downapplications and should only be cleaned by wiping off the dirt and dust using a dry ormoistened cloth. The remaining part of the robot can be cleaned according to instructions forwash down option.Continues on next page
