See the AC Communicator Module section fordetailed information concerning this module.ULFor Listed fire central station (UL864/NFPA 72) applications, use either a LORRA alone, the main dialerwith the LORRA, or use the main dialer with the 472402A Backup Dialer. For Listed fire remote station(UL864/NFPA72) applications, use the main dialer with the 472402A backup dialer. Telephone linesupervision is required for UL commercial fire alarm systems when a dual-line dialer is used for fire signaltransmission.• The system supports the 472402A backup dialer. The older version 472402 cannot be used with theFOCUS 200 PLUS system.• The system supports either the AC Communicator or the backup dialer, not both.Reporting Formats AvailableThe reporting formats supported by the FOCUS 200 PLUS system are:• ADT SIA• ADEMCO Contact IDA Successful TransmissionBelow is the communication sequence whenever a signal is transmitted:1. The control panel seizes the phone line and dials the Customer Care Center (CCC).2. The control panel waits to hear a “handshake” frequency tone from the receiver to confirm that thereceiver is on-line and ready to receive its message.3. After the panel hears the correct handshake, it transmits its message.4. If the message is received and understood by the receiver, it transmits a “kissoff” frequency tone.
