If you have enabledChime, the control unit gives a double-tone chime when you trigger adetector.You can see which zones still need to be tested by pressing or to scroll through the zones: an "A" is shown at the end of the line foreach zone that has been tested. Alternatively, you can press andscroll through the untested zones (press again to return todisplaying all zones).6. If you wish, you can press to finish the test early.7. Once all zones are tested, you will see the following on the top line:Testing outputsMaster users can use Test – Outputs to test outputs the installer hasconfigured as "User Defined". The outputs may be used to control externaldevices, such as lights or locking equipment.Note: You can activate or deactivate user-defined outputs at any time (seepage 43).To carry out the test:1. Select Test – Outputs.The display lists user-defined outputs allocated for your use. Forexample:The top line shows the output number. The bottom line shows thename of the output (which may be the same as the address) andwhether the output is currently on or off.2. Press or to select the output.3. Press to switch the output on, and again to switch it off. Checkthat the output is working as expected. The output may take severalseconds to change state.4. Press to end the test.
