22Oven light is not workingThe bulb has probably burnt out. You can buy a replacementbulb (which is not covered under the warranty) from a goodelectrical shop.Ask for a 40 W – 230 V halogen lamp (G9) (Fig. 7.1).Turn off the power at the circuit breaker.Before removing the existing bulb, turn off the power supplyand make sure that the oven and bulb have cooled. Open theoven door and remove the oven shelves.Remove the bulb cover by turning it a quarter turn, counter-clockwise. It may be very stiff (Fig. 7.2).Taking care to protect your fingers with a glove in case thebulb should shatter, unscrew the old bulb.Screw in the new bulb; screw back the bulb cover. Turn on thecircuit breaker and check that the bulb now lights.The oven door is misalignedThe bottom hinge of either oven door can be adjusted toalter the angle of the door (Fig. 7.3). Loosen the bottomhinge fixing screws and use the notch and a flat bladedscrewdriver to move the position of the hinge to set thehinge position (Fig. 7.4).Retighten the hinge screws.GrillThe fascia gets hot when I use the oven or grillThe cooker is cooled by a fan. If the fascia becomesexcessively hot when the cooker is in use then the coolingfan may have failed. Should this occur please contact yourinstaller, a qualified repair engineer or Customer Service toarrange for its repair.The knobs get hot when I use the oven or the grill. Can Iavoid this?Yes, this is caused by heat rising from the oven or the grill,and heating them up.
