This should stop after use.Before using for the first time, make sure thatall packing materials have been removed andthen, to dispel manufacturing odours, turn theovens to 200 °C and run for at least an hour.Before using the grill for the first time youshould also turn on the grill and run for 30minutes with the grill pan in position, pushedfully back and the grill door open.Make sure the room is well ventilated to theoutside air (see ‘Ventilation’ below). People withrespiratory or allergy problems should vacatethe area for this brief period.Cooling FanThis appliance may have a cooling fan. Whenthe grill or ovens are in operation the fan willrun to cool the fascia and control knobs.
