Check the appliance is gas soundafter completion.nn DO NOT use reconditioned or unauthorised gascontrols.nn Disconnect from the electricity and gas supplybefore conversion.nn Before electrical reconnection, check that theappliance is electrically safe.HotplateInjectorsRemove the burner caps and heads. Remove the old jets(Fig. 11.1). Fit the new jets (see the ‘Technical Data’ sectionat the back of this book for the correct jets). Reassemble inreverse order.Bypass Screw AdjustmentRemoving the Control PanelPull off all the control knobs. Remove the handrail (Fig. 11.2).Using a 2 mm Allen key, undo the 2 retaining screws in thebase and side of each handrail support and remove.Remove the 3 fixing screws (A) from the underside of thecontrol panel (Fig. 11.3). Remove the 2 screws (B) that werehidden by the handrail supports. Lift the control panel clear,taking care not to damage or strain the wiring.Bypass Screw AdjustmentTurn the bypass screw on each control clockwise to the stop(Fig. 11.4).Refit the control panel. Locate the holes in the top edge onthe tags on the inner panel and replace the fixing screws inthe bottom edge.11.
