5• DO NOT use the timed oven if theadjoining oven is already warm.• DO NOT place warm food in the oven to betimed.• DO NOT use a timed oven that is alreadywarm.• Use dry oven gloves when applicable –using damp gloves might result in steamburns when you touch a hot surface.Oven Shelves (dependant on model)To fit the glide-out shelf, hook the front of theshelf onto the runners as shown (Fig. 1.2). Therear of the shelf should rest on the runners, infront of the rear stop (Fig. 1.2).Standard oven shelves can be fitted by liningup the shelf with a groove in the oven ladders.Push the shelf back until the ends hit the shelfstop. Lift the front so the shelf clears the stops,then lower the front so the shelf is level andpush it fully back.Grill/Glide-out Grill™ Care• When using the grill, make sure that thegrill pan is in position and pushed fully in,otherwise the control knobs may becomevery hot.• DO NOT leave the grill on for more thana few moments without the grill panunderneath it, otherwise the knobs maybecome hot.• NEVER close the grill door when the grill ison.• Accessible parts may be hot when the grillis in use. Young children should be keptawayCooker CareAs steam can condense to water dropletson the cool outer trim of the oven, it may benecessary during cooking to wipe away anymoisture with a soft cloth. This will also help toprevent soiling and discolouration of the ovenexterior by cooking vapours.Cleaning• Isolate the electricity supply beforecarrying out any thorough cleaning. Allowthe cooker to cool.• In the interests of hygiene and safety, thecooker should be kept clean at all times asa build up in fats and other food stuff couldresult in a fire.• Clean only the parts listed in this guide.• Clean with caution. If a wet sponge orcloth is used to wipe spills on a hot surface,be careful to avoid steam burns. Somecleaners can produce noxious fumes ifapplied to a hot surface.• NEVER use paint solvents, washing soda,caustic cleaners, biological powders,bleach, chlorine based bleach cleaners,coarse abrasives or salt.• DO NOT mix different cleaning products– they may react together with hazardousresults.• All parts of the cooker can be cleaned withhot soapy water.• Take care that no water seeps into theappliance.• Before you remove any of the grill parts forcleaning, make sure that they are cool oruse oven gloves.• DO NOT use any abrasive substances onthe grill and grill parts.• DO NOT put the side runners in adishwasher.
