Local bus adapter cards vary in degree of adherence to thisstandard. Therefore, IBM cannot guarantee that all available local busoption cards will perform according to manufacturer’s claims.This computer will support Internal or External video, but not bothsimultaneously.Security: Power-on password. See “Power-On Password, CMOS Reset”on page 1-12.System Boards: See “System Board Layout” on page 5-2 for systemboard jumper and connector locations.The system board supports Pentium processors and has the followingfeatures: P54C socket 7-ZIF connector. You must remove the old processor toinstall an upgrade processor. 16 KB internal cache memory, and also supports an optional 256 KB or512 KB external cache modules. 2 MB Video DRAM soldered on the system board. Four, 72-pin system memory module sockets support these memorymodules:– 4 MB, 8 MB, 16 MB, or 32 MB SIMM modules.– Parity (36 bit) or Non-Parity (32 bit) memory SIMMs.– Memory speed of 60 nanoseconds (ns).– Tin-lead contacts.– Fast page mode or extended data out (EDO).– Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM).1-6
