Calls notanswered at their normal destinations are transferred to the prime telephone. Theprime telephone is usually the attendant’s telephone. The installer or customerservice representative programs a prime telephone for a line.Displaysº Flashing on and off forequal lengths of time There is an incoming call on the line.º Flashing on and offmore quickly You have placed a call on hold.º Flashing on for longerthan off Someone else has put a call on holdon that line.º On, not flashing You are connected to the call on thatline or the line is in use elsewhere.Off The line is free.A double beep every tenseconds A call has been camped to your telephone.A long single ring There is an external call on the line for you.A shorter double ring There is an internal call on the line for you ora call is being transferred to you.A brief single ring A call is being redirected on one of yourredirected lines. You cannot answer thiscall.Three beepsdescending in tone You are receiving a priority call.The person at telephone 221 has forwardeda call to you using Do Not Disturb.The system has transferred a call to youfrom a telephone with Do Not Disturb turnedon.Nobody answered this call so the systemtransferred it to you.Someone has camped, parked ortransferred a call on line 061, but no one hasanswered it.
