Introduction21Network features 1Your Océ machine has the following basic network features.Network printing 1The print server provides printing services for Windows® 2000/XP, Windows Vista ® and Windows Server ®2003/2008 supporting the TCP/IP protocols and Macintosh (Mac OS X 10.3.9 or greater) supporting TCP/IP.Network scanning 1You can scan documents over the network to your computer (See Network Scanning in the Software User’sGuide).Network PC Fax 1You can directly send a file from your computer as a PC Fax over your network (See PC-FAX Software forWindows ® and Sending a Fax for Macintosh in the Software User’s Guide for a complete description).Windows ® users can also PC Fax receive (See PC-FAX receiving in the Software User’s Guide).Fax Server TX 1The Fax to Server feature allows the machine to scan documents and send them via a separate fax server.Unlike Internet fax or I-Fax, the Fax to Server feature utilizes a server to send the documents as fax data overphone or T-1 lines.Management utilities 1BRAdmin Light 1BRAdmin Light is a utility for initial setup of Océ network connected devices. This utility can search for Océproducts on your network, view the status and configure basic network settings, such as IP address. TheBRAdmin Light utility is available for Windows® 2000/XP, Windows Vista ® and Windows Server ® 2003/2008and Mac OS X 10.3.9 or greater computers. For installing BRAdmin Light on Windows® , please see the QuickSetup Guide provided with the machine. For Macintosh users, BRAdmin Light will be installed automaticallywhen you install the printer driver. If you have already installed the printer driver, you don’t have to install itagain.
