The display changes to SETUP FAXRING, CALL FAX NUMBER NOW.7 Using a separate telephone line, immediately dial thenumber assigned to the MFP (you must do this within 90seconds). When your MFP begins to ring, your MFPautomatically detects and remembers its assigned ringpattern. When your MFP has finished programming itsring pattern, the display show RESULT=OK.! Occasionally, your MFP may not be able to detect itsring pattern on the first try. If this happens, the displaywill show RESULT=NG. Follow the instructions againfrom Step 6.8 Press the Yes ß key to confirm your selection.9 Press the Select Function key to finish.Dial Parameter SettingsThese functions allow you to control the way your MFP dialstelephone numbers. Availablesettings are from 1 to 6 minutes. Default setting is 3 minutesbetween dialing attempts.DIAL TONE DETECT: This function allows your MFP towait for and detect a dial tone before proceeding withdialing. Available settings are on and off.
